Aliyah McDonald
Assistant Coach
Aliyah McDonald is a resident of Hempstead, Long Island.
Aliyah began her basketball career as an 8th grader on the Uniondale High School Girls Varsity Team where she clinched her 1,000 points in her senior year. Aliyah was named All County player and all Conference player for 4 of the 5 years on Varsity as well.
Aliyah attended Molloy College where she played Division 2 Basketball. Aliyah was awarded Most Outstanding Player in the ECC Tournament, ECC Second Team and The East Region All Tournament Team, The First Women In the History of Molloy Women’s Basketball program to receive that honor. Aliyah led her team to their first championship in 9 years in the 2016-2017 season while averaging 14.8 points, 6.5 assists and 4.6 rebounds.
After her college career ended, Aliyah was offered the assistant coach position of the Nassau Community College Women’s Basketball Team. The Nassau Lady Lions went 16-9 on the season, which is a step in the right direction for the program
